How It Works
1.
Download the Suitelet — click "Download Suitelet" above and save the file.
2.
Deploy to NetSuite — upload nsea_excelConnector_SL.js via Customization > Scripting > Scripts > New, set type to Suitelet, check Available Without Login, deploy it, and note the External URL.
3.
Download the Excel Add-in — click "Download Excel Add-in" above and save manifest.xml to a local folder.
4.
Sideload in Excel — the method depends on your platform (see below).
5.
Start working — open the add-in, enter your credentials and RESTlet URL, and you're connected.
Sideloading by Platform

Windows (Desktop)

1.
Save manifest.xml to a local folder (e.g. C:\AddinManifests\).
2.
In Excel, go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trusted Add-in Catalogs.
3.
Enter the folder path as the Catalog URL, click Add catalog, and check Show in Menu. Click OK.
4.
Close and reopen Excel. Go to Home > Add-ins > More Add-ins, select the SHARED FOLDER tab, and choose the add-in.

Mac (Desktop)

1.
Open Terminal and paste this command:

Restart Excel, then go to Home > Add-ins and select the add-in.

Excel on the Web

1.
Open a workbook at office.com. Select Home > Add-ins > More Add-ins.
2.
In the Office Add-ins dialog, select Upload My Add-in, browse to manifest.xml, and click Upload.
